Omni Thinks

Did you ever use ChatGPT?

Your answer to the question above will most likely be yes.

In today’s world living alongside generative AI, even if it is just asking ChatGPT questions about everyday life, has become normal.

And many people use it for more specific use cases to help out with their everyday life:

  • Writing E-Mails
  • Fixing Mistakes and rewriting Texts
  • Help for studying
  • As a tool for brainstorming
  • Helping with programming
  • Creating Translations

These are some, very general, applications and it looks like AI will only be used more and more the more time passes. Both private Individuals and entire cooperations use it for tasks of varying importance.

The point is:
It seems like AI won’t be going anywhere.

HUGE

But we couldn't help but notice that there is a problem with the way this technology is being established now:

We cannot pretend that we alone can solve the issues surrounding AI, but we can take part in something equally important: raising awareness and reclaiming a sense of agency in how we use it.

Far too often, artificial intelligence is presented only as something handed down by large corporations — polished, closed-off, and out of reach for the very people who rely on it. The lack of consumer-driven applications and tools is not just unfortunate; it is a missed opportunity for creativity, independence, and accountability. This website exists to push back against that imbalance. What you see here is not the work of a corporation, but the effort of a small, passionate individual who believes that control over AI should not belong exclusively to big tech.

That is why this project introduces you to SillyTavern, an open-source AI frontend that allows for genuine customization and independence. With SillyTavern, you are no longer bound to the restrictive defaults chosen by others — you can shape your interactions, adjust your prompts, and make AI work for you, rather than the other way around. This site aims to guide you step by step in setting up SillyTavern for yourself, while also offering access to a live server so you can immediately experience the difference that consumer control and customization make.

The vision is simple: spread awareness, offer tools, and remind people that AI does not have to be something we merely consume — it can be something we co-create, something we reclaim, and something we use on our own terms.

The field of AI is evolving rapidly and so does our dependence on it
